A March Omnibus

This month has been super eventful with our new baby and me actually having a social life! Tiffany (volunteer from MN) and I have been having lots of fun and discovering new places. It's been pretty hectic work-wise and there has been a lot of tension and drama this month, but thankfully that has all been resolved now and hopefully things will continue moving in a positive direction.

BADPLAAS
Most of the gang eating lunch at a petrol station on the way home

Me and Cathy in the pool - we spent pretty much the whole weekend in the water!

Tiffany and Darren both have waterproof cameras, so we all had loads of fun messing around.

Me and Tiffany in the pool. Looking happy because it wasn't raining! It rained for most of the afternoons and evenings all weekend... and we were in tents! Horrors!

MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY PARK
We also discovered a new nature reserve here, with an amazing combination of waterfalls and rock formations. And, since this is South Africa, you can climb all over everything! It was pretty fabulous, even though I got threatened by a cobra midway through!

BABIES
Look how big my girl is getting! Poor thing, she's now the only girl in the house. She thinks she's also an Auntie though, and runs around telling the boys what to do all day! We're slowly working on potty training.... pray for us!

Getting so big! This is our little man that came in so malnourished and weak. He's now sitting, rolling over and working on crawling. At the moment he just turns himself in circles wherever you've left him on the ground! Unfortunately this week he's gotten conjunctivitis, so he's pretty miserable!

Miracle baby - above and below - this is our newest boy drinking from his bottle... something his therapists said he'd probably never do! He's doing so well too. Really becoming more relaxed and focusing more properly. We are still praying for an increasing recovery for him, but he is a real trooper!

Well, I'm off to go shopping now (I need a mall fix after the weekend of camping :-) ) so I'll be back next month!
