Well folks, we're 2 weeks into "school" and it's going better than expected (with the exception of this monday, when they were all horrendously whiny!) and we've managed to stay on track with what I'd expected us to accomplish. If you follow us on facebook you'll have seen the photos of our handprint craft last week. We were studying "My Body and Senses" and the kids had a great time playing and learning with lots of different textures, smells and tastes. This week we've been learning about "My Family" and working on a mini-book of pictures of the people in our family. If the kids decide to cooperate tomorrow there may be a photo :-)

The twins have also been busy the last few weeks - they are learning to crawl (well, mostly they just drag themselves around by their arms, but occasionally we have hands and knees going on) and often we have to play "hide and seek" trying to find them. If you've put one down in the lounge, and then gone to change the other, by the time you come back the first one has generally managed to crawl underneath something, or out of the back door, and vanished!
And sometimes they get stuck!

I can't believe how old my Princess looks in this picture - she is really getting to be quite the little Mama, running around after the other kids and telling them off, giving them a hug if they are crying, and trying to dish out justice if someone's taken another child's toy! My most used phrase with her at the moment is "Are YOU an Auntie? I didn't think so." However, it has been lots of fun having some regular one-on-one time with her. She shares me much better during school if she knows that we're going to have a whole hour to ourselves to do things without the "kids" interfering.
This is her latest trick - standing on many strange objects!
